October 25 Showin' WWF in VS 2008 @ Ineta Colombia EventHello Folks!
I have been working in community events & I have to say that there is a really huge interest in new Microsoft technologies, including Silverligth, Expression and of course WWF. My mission was showin' all new features included in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008; some of the new ones people enjoyed a lot was the SendActivity and Receive Activity; I supposed that this behavior it's because these new activities had masked many details about DataContracts and other Windows Communication Foundation details.
This event was called "Develop Yourself With Microsoft, El Sena & Ineta" (El Sena it's a goverment institute in charge of public education in Colombia) and took place in Neiva (a Colombian City) on September 24th. Here some of the pictures:

Microsoft Speaker Andean Region April 28 WWF & SOA event @ Bogotá [Colombia]Hello there
I have been focused in making WinFX , WWF & MOCS events more avalailable for the dev pro/academic community; with this clear purpose in mind, We are giving seminars from Ineta (coz ´m a Ineta volunteer) & with the WillyDev.nets help. I wanna share with you some pictures about last event on 17th APRIL; We also video recorded the event, so if you're interested in, please let me know.
People who came this event were really interested in knowing about the new FW 3.0 features (specially WWF) & in understanding what the hell SOA is?; these topics sound fine for people (I mean, it's cool to say: "m making a SOA based project, don't you?"), but are harder to applying that it looks like. I'm happy coz I have got a cool concept thanks to Kavita Kamani (Program Manager, Connected Framework); everything started when I did the Travel Booking Applicatin example (available from WinFX community site) I found an extensible inteface using; then I got this question: what's the advantange of doing it by this way and not by referencing directly the appropiate project ?
I supossed the first advantage it was having a less tightly coupled code but what I really liked knowing it was that this is like a service oriented pattern, I mean, what one does it's using these activities for generic communications and then implementing deatils for each service which ones will consume them.

Javier Caceres Confirm Input ApplicationHello guys
I have been doing the exercises cointained in the Speech SDK; I make a workflow confirmation application but when I run it everything is okay, execpt cos I thougth I could spoke the machine for speech reconigtion but for my surprise, I had to write the numbers (in this way: one, two and not 1,2) I was not able to use the keypad (cos I got the screenshot error atached)

JC Travel Application SampleHello everybody
This entry is about my experience doing the TravelApplication lab available from http://wf.netfx3.com/files/folders/sample_applications/entry308.aspx; the purpose of this lab is showing the use of declarative rules, the conditioned activity group and the using of HandleExternalEventActivity & the CallExternalMethodActivity; this is a big sample & Í was only running it and checking out the concepts exposed; the huge interfaces using had make me many doods I post in the relationed forum (http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1447133&SiteID=1&mode=1); I think this continuoisly interface using it's coz the fexibility to handle event's and methods without "hard bounding" them .
I ´ll wait for the response and I ´ll share my conclusions.
